I recently met with a client who was in a rear-end car accident and badly injured. She came to us by referral, but when the accident first happened, she had no idea what to do. She spoke with a friend who is an ex-ICBC adjuster. Her advice was “Hire a good lawyer.”
From first-hand experience, my client’s friend knew that she would not get a fair settlement if she did not hire a lawyer. ICBC adjusters act like your best friend, but they represent ICBC and are not on your side. An ex-adjuster would hire a lawyer if she got injured in a car accident. Doesn’t that say it all?
